A Sanary tapas restaurant where regional fresh products and Mediterranean cuisine intertwine. Cali is an unconditional love for “Quality” products, a taste journey from Sanary to countries embracing our coasts, a veritable “crossroads of flavors” where traditions and novelties mix to transport you for a dinner.
A Return to the Roots…
Cali is a family affair, this love for cooking and catering is a brotherhood revelation in this restaurant.
Julian and Jean-Roch, both from the world of catering, working in high places in Paris, even traveling to Australia! With their experience and (some renovations!), their project was born in March 2022 on rue de la Prud’homie in Sanary, just behind the port. For the two brothers, a return to the roots was necessary, these purebred Sanaryens could only shine in their heart city. Their menu changes with the seasons and market products. Their motto: “to have the maximum of products in short circuit”, the fish is caught in the morning to be served the same evening by their favorite fisherman of the port, their vegetables and fruits are directly picked at the producer’s.
My Expérience
We were seated inside on the bar, intimate atmosphere facing the kitchen, as the terrace was full. In fact, if you want to eat there, you’ll need to book as the 2 brothers are often victims of their success.
Warmly welcomed in this tapas restaurant, a drink and cocktail menu is offered. Here, even the cocktails are made from fresh products and demonstrate great originality.
We then browse the menu of dishes, a selection of “mezzes” to share: Hummus, breaded chicken, Ceviche, honey roasted carrots, I assure you that you will want to take everything. If you are several, do not hesitate to taste everything, it is really worth it.
A selection of wine can be offered to perfectly match your choice of dishes.
It really feels like home and it feels good.
