Le Georges La Seyne: The Trendy Rooftop for Drinks
This Rooftop, nestled on the roof of the Rive d’Or Hotel in the heart of the Tamaris Corniche (in La Seyne sur mer), is the perfect spot for drinks facing the sea!
It’s the favorite spot of Var residents during the summer season (yes, the rooftop is closed in winter!). Here you can enjoy tasty appetizer platters. Cold cut platter, roasted Saint-Marcelin cheese or even crates of market vegetables accompanied by homemade tapenade.
You can also indulge in stunning cocktails for a drink with friends or with your loved ones while enjoying a magnificent view of the bay of Toulon. If you go early in the evening, it will be breathtaking!
For Instagramers with high standards, you should hurry up to enjoy the “Golden Hour”! You’ll take your best selfies there ;).
My experience
Le Georges is not an unknown address for me. As I mentioned above, it’s really the summer spot for all Var residents!
So it’s a must-visit each summer for a drink by the sea, whether it’s with friends or with my loved one.
The place is therefore very popular! I highly recommend you to make a reservation if, like us, you wish to go there on a weekend evening.
You will then have the chance to be comfortably seated in a small lounge, with a breathtaking view of the Toulon bay.
We ordered three platters to share: The charcuterie board, a classic! A roasted Saint-Marcellin cheese, and beef Keftas with homemade hummus.
The cocktails were excellent, as usual.
The service was impeccable.
